Tuesday, April 9, 2024 - Bottle #1 of 2. Full 2" cork in excellent condition. Decanted 60 minutes. Medium ruby with hints of garnet, watery rim. Moderately intense aromas and flavours of cedar, licorice, mocha, red fruits (under-ripe cherry), green stems, oak. Medium-full body, high acid, XD, high tannin, medium-high alcohol (14.5%). Long finish of cinnamon hearts. An excellent wine, but still a baby. All primary and secondary flavours, and clearly has the stuffing to go the distance. Put this in the back of your cellar and forget about it. Will try my second bottle in another 10-15 years.
