NOSE: cherry, with a savory bent; moderately expressive; not funky, and a touch fumey.

BODY: cherry red color; clear; medium bodied.

TASTE: high acid; still plenty of drying tannin present (no surprise); seemingly more fleshed-out than a bottle tasted in Feb. 2023; a bit rustic, but with plenty of pleasant, ripe, cherry fruit; no leather or funk --- this one is clean; seems pretty-well-stuffed, and still on the young side; no tar or roses; alc. pokes through a bit; just barely starting to pick up some savory/aged tones at the 2.5 hrs. mark. Drink or Hold --- there's definitely room for improvement, but it's enjoyable to drink now, too.
