11/22/2022 8:24:00 AM - My score for the vintage is representative of how well the vintage was overall versus how well the wine was made. I noticed in Langhe in several articles I read that while growing conditions were almost perfect. They did have some issues in the spring and a little bit more heat than they desired, hence the 89 score versus what weather is strictly during harvest for me it’s always about the weather during the entire course of the year that affects grape production. By the way, I am not a pro. I am informally trained based on everything I have read and learned, and I am learning more every day but I appreciate all the comments on all my tasting notes.

11/22/2022 5:31:00 PM - redhead, now I am curious... what does 89 represent?
    (i) your score of the vintage
(ii) your reflection that the wine was a 90 on absolute basis, but should have been better given the strength of the vintage, hence it is an 89 on a relative basis to what one could find in the vintage
    (iii) something else
