April 26, 2024 - Popped and poured. Nice light red fruit. Hints of vanilla. Drinking nicely but still has time in the bottle.

May 27, 2022 - This bottle was flat and one-dimensional and not up to what I expect from an Alexana PN. It arrived a good while ago and has been well stored. I had my first bottle of a different label from the same shipment about a week ago, and that bottle was terrific. Wine can be a mystery sometimes.

West Blocks represent an anomaly within the Dundee Hills. The ultra steep south/southwest facing slope exposes a series of ancient marine-sedimentary soils that produce one of the most unique personalities of Pinot Noir from the Dundee Hills

March 27, 2021 - Fabulous purple color. Fruit forward with cherries. Long finish. Wonderful.

    February 6, 2021 - From the winery:

The western blocks of our estate vineyard are composed entirely of various sedimentary soil types.

This vineyard section expresses highly structured wines noted for showcasing dark brambly fruits and minerality.
