September 23, 2017 - Saturday Tasting at The Gourmet Shop, Columbia, SC 9/23/2017 (The Gourmet Shop, Columbia, SC): Very concentrated gold color. Surprising concentrated rich entry and mouth feel. Upfront fruity but also complex enough to show some earthy Riesling funky garden and herbal flavors. Sharp, distinct green apple, pear and citrus, but also smooth and elegant. Very correct balancing acid. Fruit, minerals and honey on the finish.
