March 28, 2021 - Rich and powerful, it retained it's character even 2 days after opening, and only 8 oz in the bottle (vacuum sealed).

December 22, 2017 - Dark berry aromas that build nicely with time in the glass. Similar dark fruit on the palate...it has good density but isn’t heavy. There’s a nice lift provided by the acidity, and this wine finishes with pleasantly gripping tannins. Very nice.

March 21, 2017 - Deep, dark reddish-purple in color; almost opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of earthy/dusty, floral & herbal notes, minerals, spices & a hint of toasted oak/vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with earthiness, herbs, spices, minerals, toasty oak & vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting and extended airing but will develop further with additional aging. Great QPR.
