February 12, 2023 - Aging quite nicely. Turning straw gold in colour. Aromas showing some petrol, lemon, honey, tangerine. Nice acidity ... juicy but not too tart. Some tartness and honeyed sweetness. Around 8.1g/L residual sweetness. Flavours still show freshness, with lemons, green apples, honey. Very smooth. Good overall structure. Tartness on the finish. Long finish.

March 18, 2022 - Vibrant nose delivers margarita (yes, the cocktail), petrol, white nectarine and wet rocks all at once--POW. You find yourself leaning back instantly, thinking "what just happened?" White pepper and lions mane mushroom notes join the aromas on the palate and glide into a dry, lip-smacking acid finish that goes on for days. This could be immortal.

September 15, 2021 - Medium yellow. Lemon biscuit, lemon meringue pie nose. Great entry flashes some fruit and perhaps an ankle of RS, then the acidity and dryness take hold and carry it tactiley through to a very long finish that is dry, but gradually unquenches and leaves an impression of sweet Meyer lemon and talc, and really begs you to take another sip. Really fine wine. First of four. As with any vintage of this bottling, your grandchildren will still be enjoying them if you can keep your hands off.

December 18, 2020 - Still tart after 6 years, but with added complexity of flavor. Impressive longevity for a Riesling

October 17, 2020 - Showing in a very curious fashion. Tart green apple with a concurrent baked apple or quince vibe, button mushroom (!), white pepper, nectarine (especially in the finish), lemon drop, white tea, lime margarita (including the salt), cream cheese, faint petrol. Almost none of the tropical notes I get on other vintages of this wine. A wee bit of tangerine or kumquat and perhaps soursop. Very Mosel, with ample slate- like and chalk minerals. Racy acidity for days. YMMV... I find it compelling enough.
