  November 3, 2016 - Guess I like to let things age. Bramble and black berry were quite forward on the nose, leather and some smoke behind. The tannins had good and fairly silky grip. overall the wine was matured from matured to self confident and well worth waiting for.

  November 24, 2013 - Like any petite sirah, this one has the gritty tannins and earthy fruit. The length was great and a smooth finish. Had with a roasted, spicy, meaty dish and worked great. The tannins worked great with the spice and the dried / earthy fruit held up to the meat.
  The wine looks Inky colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Dust, and Forest floor. It tastes like and Prune. The body is Full. The wine has Leathery texture. The wine finishes Long.

  July 20, 2012 - Deep dark purple. Some dark fruit on the nose with a medium finish that includes a nice spice. Not much complexity in this. Tasted after letting it breath for 30 minutes.

  N: Intense blueberry and blackberry. Hints of tobacco, anise, smoke, and decaying Autumn leaves
  P: Just like the nose, blueberry, blackberry, and toss in a can of cola.

  This is a huge wine. Intense flavors. Nice tannins on the finish. Well worth the $8 paid!
