As of June 8, 2020, we've made an adjustment to the way the CSV option works for Barcode labels. To address some issues with rendering extended (non-ASCII) characters on labels, we've changed the encoding of the CSV generated from the Barcode print dialog to be UTF-8 instead of ISO-8859-1 (Latin 1). This change should be transparent for nearly everyone, as Word will know how to correctly handle this encoding. The only difference from before in usage is that, when selecting the labels.csv file as the recipient list in Word, you have to set the encoding to Unicode (UTF-8) (previously, it should have been Windows). In my testing, Word automatically detected this encoding and selected the correct default automatically. If you're encountering any issues with character encodings on labels printed via the CSV method, please reach out to us at support@cellartracker.com so we can dig in deeper. Thanks, Dan
