Last week, we rolled out some an exciting new enhancement to the search grammar -- support for quoted phrases as a way of doing exact match searches. In simpler terms, it means you can now easily search for wines from "B Cellars", "K Vintners", "J Vineyards" and "T-Vine Cellars" without having to do producer filters or other complicated advanced searches. All you have to do is enclose the terms in double quotes, and it will search only for exact matches in the database. As before, all other (non-quoted) terms are treated as prefix matches, meaning results will be returned if the search term matches the beginning of any word in the dataset. This change is effective across desktop, classic, and mobile, and is in place for the main search boxes, autocomplete, the mapping tools, Add to My Cellar/Drink or Remove landing pages, and a few other places. If you run into any oddities where search is not returning the results you expect, please let us know and we'll investigate further. Enjoy! Dan
