Just back from San Juan and I thought I'd post a picture of THE BEST mofongo with carne vaca frita I've ever had! This is the green plantain friend and mashed with garlic and olive oil, topped with fried pork chunks. Lipitor not included!

I agree. Most times bacon can be not rendered or properly butchered for this application. But, because of how this was prepared it was really good

Restaurant Pages Lobster

The key to this dish was "Lobster Butter", French butter with lobster roe. It is much better than it sounds.

Status: offline 		Bread doesn't usually make the main stage here on the Food Porn thread. But this bread is different. This is the best bread in Paris and it's served at Les Parisiens in St. Germain. The crust is crunchy and goes perfectly with their ridiculously rich butter.

Status: offline 		Had a plan to do a Fettucini with fresh basil and cherry tomatoes but when I was at the grocery store looking at charcuterie I saw Guanciale and had to buy it. The result I’ll call Brianara. Left out the egg yolks and added the Basil and Tomatoes. Was pretty darn good if I may say so myself.
