Has anyone actually bought or sold an item on Vinfolio yet? I suspect it's too early for any transactions to be complete yet, but an item may have been bought or sold. Please let us know how it's worked out for you!

I guess Vinfolio must be an utter failure; at least forum browsers don't appear to be using it!

we are VERY small tip of the all CT users. Inconclusive at best, based on CT Forum members alone. I didn't use them because my wines are hand picked and not for sale :)

I think some of us are very cautious, as the 2 week shipping requirement would mean we'd have to ship in the summer. I have my toes in, but really wouldn't consider shipping anything until the fall.

And honestly, the commission is very steep; for mid-priced wines it's hardly worth the bother.

I'm with Serge ... I have been buying to drink (if you look at my cellar, I guess I hope to live to be 135).
Never thought that seriously about selling wine for a profit ... would rather drink it with my friends.

Amazing to me how they're burning this topic up over on that board, but won't come to the CT boards to discuss it, where it seems more appropriate. Seems a bit odd, and condescending toward Eric (my word, not Eric's).
