ORIGINAL: wdcwineguys About every 6-12mo I try to do an inventory. I normally find a handful of bottles that I forgot to mark out and find a few bottles that never got put in. It’s satisfying when it’s all accurate and corrected. (For however short a time that is) I do wish CT had an easy audit feature. I typically print out a report and the have my iPad to make corrections. It isn’t the fastest method. You can do an audit in CT; I do it once a year. I move everything into an INV location, scan all the barcodes, and what is left in INV is missing or presumed drunk. Having a hand-held scanner makes life a lot easier. With 1K bottles; I can do an audit in about an hour or so. you sir, are a hero! I'm going to buy a scanner and do this, although my collection really isn't that large to warrant the effort, but sounds very cool to do and highly efficient
