Fantastic wine tasting with some stellar wines sampled. Loved the setup -- tons of room to mingle, great food buffet, well chosen folks pouring the wine. Awesome.

Almost brown-orange in color. Beautifully aged. Still some nice lively bright red berry notes.

Huge Napa Cabernet. Loads of chocolate all over the nose. Big huge blackberries and Asian Spice.
Lovely on the palate. Very well extracted but still balanced. Lovely sappiness on the tongue. Awesome stuff.
One of the best wines tasted at the event.

Excellent mouthfeel and acidity on the finish. Gorgeous butter on the mid-palate.

This is so COOL!! This stuff is absolutely surprising.
As my VERY FIRST taste of Grecian wine...a dessert wine nonetheless...I am blown away.
The aromas were so unique. Apples and well roasted nuts with hints of pear and vanilla. Some dish soap on the nose too.
The palate is exquisite. So balanced and interesting. Just makes me want to keep going back for more even though I'm at a tasting.
I don't know if all desert wines from Santorini taste like this, but I certainly have to find out.
These grapes are grown directly on the vineyard floor touching the ground. Such an interesting way to farm grapes.
If you can get your hands on even a half bottle of this -- grab it and guzzle away.

WOTD!!! Astounding MERLOT. Absolutely flawless. Big and fleshy but still exceptionally balanced throughout entire experience.
Black at the core. Extremely dark in color. Dark berries on the nose with tons of well integrated oak, vanilla and coffee spice.
The palate is flowing and full. Totally lush with an excellent opulent mouthfeel.
Totally fell in love with this stuff. After talking with Sean Larkin for a few moments couldn't stop thinking about this LEGENDARY (in my opinion) merlot.
