More blind tasting madness...again I scored an invitation off the bench which was most excellent...
More face plants! But also, as always, a lot of fun...that Pannell Grenache is stunning...wine of the night for me...
2013 Sula Vineyards Riesling
India, Nashik
Served blind
Lime, chalky minerality, a little buttery note. Medium plus acidity, very slightly off dry, a little chalky minerality, lime and apple.
The nose put me in Australia, the off-dry led to Germany but it wasn't right for either. Guessed Riesling but that was as far as I got.
