i must say that 2005 may be the wrong year for these wines...
nice nose of minerals and grass, but the palatte is a bit too rich, lacking the focus and acidity and the alc sticks out...looking at other people's nots i may be off...but i was hoping for more focus

my fav wine of the night! this has it all. a true oldfashioned Barolo - earthy, silk, smooth..mushrooms, pine needles... you name it. excelent refreshing structure, long finish. the only thing i dont LOVE is the price...but even that isnt outrageous.
