Beautiful Santa Barbara area Pinot. This is drinking just fine. Still significant fruit. Smooth. Any tannins have resolved. Second bottle this month and both were delicious.

Color: light translucent ruby -> diffuse light ruby rim; very appropriate Pinot appearance. Stellar, intense bouquet that leaps from the glass as soon as poured: cranberry, rhubarb, beetroot with a little earthiness and smoke. Palate follows through nicely showing plump, sweet (okay, sun-drenched California) fruit with raspberries, cranberries, and just a touch of cola (just the right amount IMO). Bright, spritely acidity zooms in on the very long finish keeping this really fresh and delicious. Kudos to all at Roar for a fabulous bottle of Pinot Noir; restores my faith that California can make compelling Pinot!

Similar notes to previous bottle, but with a touch more heat on the finish.

Delicious cherry aromas with dried and sour cherry flavors and a hint of oak and earth on the finish. Drinking beautifully!

Sweet cherry and coca cola on the nose. Med bod, more cherry cola on the palate along with forest floor notes. Nice acid lingers on sweet finish.
