Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 91 points

  • Just delicious. Rich, concentrated dried pineapple and apricot balanced by goregous orange citrus acidity. Honeycomb, cinnamon spice, and caremelized nuts add complexity throughout. In a wonderful place. Drink.

  • Notes from day 2. Dark gold to amber color. Nose of apricot, a hint of mandarin orange, spiced apple cider, On the palate there was honey, spiced apple cider, . The finish is average at best and there is something kinda off about it in my opinion. The wife says this is corked, maybe so. No score because bottle might have been a bit flawed as the cork was crumbly when taken out of the bottle, I guess 5 years of sitting on a wine shop shelf upright didn't do this bottle any favors. Too bad, always love Jim's wines.
