An oak aged chardonnay, but it had a nice fragrance to it. If it were a perfume, it would be a good perfume, only you could drink it. Not what I'd want everyday, but for me to not mind an oak-aged chardonnay is saying something. I think the flight pilot said something about a special kind of oak being used (Denmark?) that was of harder wood and gave a gentler oak flavor.

Tasted at Winery: Alone, very floral aromas deter a first sip, but then the layered flavor competes just fine, with white peach as the second flavor that hits very hard. Buttery smooth finish. Delicious wine. [Note: I may have confused these notes with the Tondre's.}

Tasting Room: Whatever I had before and loved is not clear to me now. This seemed a lightly oaked light chard.
