Did not enjoy this wine on day 1. Not much fruit and very disjointed. Couldn't finish the glass. Day 2 was kinder, but still didn't show very well. Started to come together, but flavors were off. Bad bottle?

tasted at winery; reticent mulberry and blueberry notes with a watery midpalate; finishes with clean forest floor and clean tannins; the thin texture makes me wonder if this can improve over time

Drank this wine for Giants game 1 win. Really liked it! Starting to notice an unmistakable Anderson Valley-ness as I taste more wines from the region. These are robust Pinots with a bit of a wild streak--forest floor, truffle, sassafras, cola, wild roots. The fruit is there, but it's part of a deeper whole. This is a weighty Pinot.

Earthy cherry cola slowly evolves into violet. The fruit is somewhat subtle here, but the combination is quite lovely.
