  • A bit of vinyl/plastic on the nose mixes with honey and apricots....palate is medium - full bodied, a rich wine but with firm acidity on the finish - this wine is made for cheese. Flavors of candied apricot with a little bit of a spicy note and a long finish. A good value in high quality dessert wine, and drinking well now but can probably hold for a couple more years without losing anything.

  • Sam says: "It smells a little bit magical-- that little burst of magic you can only get when you smell something really beautiful and late harvest. And then, when it hits your tongue, the first thing you notice is the syrupy texture, and then you are bombarded by apricots and honey. It also had a type of freshness that you wouldn't expect from the syrupy texture, which made it really balanced. I don't know what else there is to say."

  • Very sweet dessert wine. Equal to Ice Wine in its consistancy and taste. Very good.

  • Excellent Chardonnay-Semillon sticky. Consistent with my tasting note from 9/10, except that the acidity seemed to be well balanced rather than lacking. Will try to find more.

  • These notes apply to the wine that has "Chardonnay-Semillon" on the label. This is an amazing dessert wine, with great richness and complexity. Golden amber in color. Apricots, peach, honey, lemon drops on nose and palate. Full-bodied and concentrated, it has a very very long finish. Medium acidity. The only thing that would make it even better would be slightly higher acidity. For this reason, I am not sure that I would really want to age it, although it would be interesting to try.
