I gave it a few more points this time, in respect of its style - light but with nice acidity and a decent finish. Perhaps this is typical of the Pinot's from this area; I'm uncertain, as I've had little exposure to them. Most-definitely not my preference.

Although this developed some decent aromatics, the fruit component was too subdued and the acidity was slighty sour, weird and almost off-putting. This wine was a pass for me. (Sure glad I ordered two of these and four of the '06 Cargassachi; instead of the other way around!)

Nice Pinot. Lighter in color and body than the 2008 sonoma coast which I'm fond of. More earth than fruit on the nose and palate. Well made wine, but not something I would seek out.

Opened @ ~60degF. Pop-n-pour. Initial aromas of tart cherries and dusty earth. In the mouth there is a juicy attack with a very light coat of powdery tannins. Light bodied and simple. There is a slight bitterness, some would say citrus peel, on the aftertaste. Somewhat disappointing; no surprise because of the relatively bad year in Willamette?
