  • PNP. cork intact. color fading garnet. nose shows chocolate and alcohol with dark berries with a question of TCA. the RS and alcohol are beating the TCA down here, but it is still vying for attention. nevertheless, the palate is fruit and alcohol driven and the finish lengthy. my next to last bottle and perfect with moist chocolate cake tonight.
really in a wonderful spot but in no danger of decline

  • PNP. Color dark purplish garnet. Mostly opaque. Nose with overripe zin fruit and hints of alcohol. On palate this is all jam with alohol a bit of tannin and unnoticeable acid. The structure here is provided primarily by the RS which is prominent, but this tastes about as primary as it did when I first tried it. Great with a berry dessert tonight and in relatively good shape for a 20 yr old.
