Pale yellow color. Aromas of lemon, apple, pear, and vanilla. Palate has lemon, yellow and green apple, and vanilla flowers that carry into a medium finish. Some heat is evident if you look for it. This is still fresh and clean and really enjoyable as a precocious Chardonnay. Drink or hold.

Pale yellow color. Aromas of pear, apple, and melon. Flavors of pear and apple dominate with some vanilla and nutmeg notes present on a medium-long finish. Still showing plenty of freshness depth. This is holding well and drinks fine right now. Drink or hold.

Bright yellow color. Aromas of banana and spiced pear. The palate is dominated by banana with vanilla, nutmeg, pear and yellow apple in the background. Amazing that the banana character holds (as does the wine) in a state of suspended animation for the three days that the bottle was consumed over. Each vintage of this wine has been unique; this one stands apart from the 2004 and 2005. I expect the banana to dissipate to reveal the true character of the wine. Check back in mid 2010.
