Better than the last bottle, this wine is coming alive. Big blackberry, pepper and and savory meat aromas, and much of the same when tasted. Touches of pencil lead and ash also fil out the palate. Bigger and deeper than the notes indicate from the last bottle.

Initial aromas of grilled meat and pepper, with blackberry coming through after decant for 3+ hours. The palate had blackberry, plum, smoke, and savory meat. Medium body and length.
