STG does Oregon Pinot (Ed's house): There was some discussion as to whether this bottle was heat damaged. The nose I found rather nice, with strawberry and something savory, but the palate was pretty devoid of fruit and tasted of rocks, and not in the good way. In any case, those who had tasted this wine before said this bottle was not characteristic - we moved on quickly.

Tasted at Eric's, CT Weekend. Garnet color. Earthy nose with black cherry. Palate of stewed black cherries, mushroom, earth. Tannins were soft, mostly resolved. This was just great.

WCC Oregon Pinot Noir Tasted Blind (Salty's Pub, Clifton Park, NY): [Cork crumbled.] Mature Burgundian nose of autumn leaves and dried cherries. Delicate in the mouth with appealing sour cherries and a touch of mint. Drink up!
