Very well aged bordeaux blend from Toscana. PnP and it is certainly not shot or past its prime. Liked it more than 2003 Serre Nuove, which is in the same "category" in my head somehow. Complex earthy notes, faint wood. Mashrooms. Pleasure to drink.

This was a very pleasant surprise . I suspected that this would be shot . Browning at the rim very much an evolved red colour . On the palate really rather lovely still some red fruits , some chocolate and vanilla - surprisingly long

Was bummed when I saw previous notes but opened bottle this evening and am quite happy with the fruit, the color, the structure. Maybe not what it could have been 4 or so years ago but not destined for the chef lungi vinegar bin quite yet
