This was a very interesting and unusual bottle. It looked like previous bottles with medium yello gold but the nose had a pronounced bacon smell and it tasted like buttery, not yet crispy cooked bacon with Lenox curd. Weird but very distinct and went well with duck confit, goat cheese and beet green flatbreads.

Medium golden yellow. Oaky nose with some tropical fruit and a little alcohol. Fairly rich and buttery but with a good bit of the oak a bit out of balance. Good with a pan sautéed red snapper in a lemon buerre blanc.

I'm sorry, read the reviews and maybe it was waiting the extra year, but this wine was spectacular. I've been a huge Landmark fan and have been on cellar club for years, but this was out of the park good. Drank last night, Absolute stunner. Huge mouth of fruit, lanolin, subtle oak and incredible balance. Excellent bottle drank at the perfect time.

Taken to a party and only had a small taste. Nice rich feel. Golden yellow. Tropical fruit and honey and moderate oak. I am usually sensitive to too high alcohol but I didn't notice that issue.

Complex, rich mouthfeel. Heat of the alcohol leaves this feeling out of balance. Very good until the finish.
