This is a very food-friendly Oregon white wine. Barrel fermented in neutral oak, it's got great characteristics without all the overly done butter found in many chardonnays from the "south" (e.g. Cali). It's reminiscent of Burgandy and sits well on the palate with a lovely, long finish. Enoyed tasting this wine at the newly opened tasting room at J.K. Carriere in Newburg, sitting in the Chehelam Mt AVA region. Beautiful spot. Beautiful wine.

Just what you would expect from Prosser - classic in design, wonderful execution. Linear, crisp, flavors with excess. Great bottle on a warm evening.
