  • My dad popped this at Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck, Paragon.

On the nose, intense sweet, roasted, earthy perfume nose laced with dried black raisins, prunes, dried flowery potpourri, figs, quite port-like.

On the palate, quite porty sweet, yet showing elegance and finesse, medium+ bodied, feathery silky tannins even though there is power; good restrain displayed. Raisins, figs, prunes, brown sugar, and cassis fill the palate. An amazingly balanced wine. Hint of coffee detected after 1.5 hours.

The vineyard is located on the uper hills in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, with sun exposure throughout the day, hence its given name "Postera".
