Yup, it was past its prime, not clear ... yup, it had a tinge of brown when I decanted it ... and yup, we had it with thick cut terriyaki marinated pork loin chops ... and yup, it was still wonderful. I'm glad we didn't wait longer. Red fruit, more cherry on the nose and subtle red fruit on the palate; not a particularly long finish, but still quite an elegant feel in the mouth and a joy to share with the love of my life!
