Golden yellow, full bodied round wine. Faint nose. Some apricot, and yellow apple. Tastes like the nose, with more yellow apple highlights. Well balanced.
As expected, a well structured wine. For me it comes down to personal preferences. I like my whites a lot tighter, with more chalk, and a more defined laser focused 'personality'. This is much more 'easy going'. My guest really liked it.

At West London Wine School's 2007 Rhone Superstar Tasting. Clear bright straw. Honey wax nose. Honeysuckle, honey and fennel finish lasting 10-20 seconds. Very good just drink up now.

Palpably dense and almost oily texture. Flowery, waxy, honeycomb nose followed with a bitter, saline, & butter palate. There's a sheen of oak here, a distinct absence of fruit, but lots going on. Not really suitable to be pushed into service without food as I have here. Clearly a dinner wine, buy didn't really synergize with curried chicken/apple/pecans either so I'm not sure how to use this kind of thing.

Elegant nose, revealing scents of cotton, Anjou pear, and white flowers. Dynamic texture that adds a level of complexity. Waxy and full. Missing some key fruit and predominantly shows white flowers, but it's stimulating to drink.

*same notes as last time.
Wine has aged gracefully. Due to a slight cold, my taste buds are a tad off, but little change from last bottle from what I can discern.
