(Elaine@Java) Dark fruits, dark floral violets, plum, earthy, woodspices. Velvety, soft, juicy, dark fruits, milk chocolate, structured with light acidity, elegant, easy and fully developed. Graphite finish with dark red earth and cocoa nibs. Simple classy wine, went well w our Indo terung and ayam serai. Pity, last bottle!

Dark ruby red in glass, with a generous nose of dark dusty berries, sweet cherries, dark flowers and characteristic barnyard leather and cracked pepper, if abit hot. Juicy sweet dark fruits, lush and textural, balanced acidity and silky soft tannins. Some ferrous earth, savory mushrooms, licorice sweetness and eucalypts on the finish. Full, balanced, easy drinking with classy transparency. Fantastic food wine, drinking very well now.

Mid-garnet, transparent in the glass. Soft rounded nose of dark berries, leather, bramble and loam. Goes down easy, with a textural viscosity, velvety flowing tannins. Focussed, but not jammy, tall forest fruits, licorice gumdrops, even hints of violets and apricots peek through. Not a complicated wine, but pleasantly linear with well developed fruits. Lengthy finish of minty eucalypts and peppers, and yet even more dark berries, mushroomy bramble and a shade of umami sweetness.
