  I have not tasted Stryker before, and I need to do more research on this winery in Sonoma. The Cellar Tracker does not have any reviews. It's a small label, but they seem to have a strong local following. I looked at www.strykersonoma.com. They have a bunch of gold and silver medals from the Sonoma County Harvest Fair, but I have never heard of Stryker before. I picked up this bottle from a supplier that I don't order from very much.
  
  It's a nice, affordable Zin. The color of rhubarb compote, a bit murky. Thin on the glass. Intriguing, plum, dark fruit, rum and earthy tones (grassy meadow with flowers comes to mind), oak on the nose. Yellow plum, leather, blueberry, plum, and cherry. Pleasant and smooth to drink with some hotness on the finish. The bottle lacks the youthful Zinfandel punch, and it's a bit subdued. Enjoyable and solid. Great second bottle.
