Listen, if I'd wanted Goldeneye, I'd have bought Goldeneye. Since the purchase by Duckhorn, I feel like the winemaking styles have merged. I'm sure they would tell you that they're run independently, but I have observed in my tasting, and in the notes on CT, that KB has, over time, become more full-bodied, lush, and, dare I say, sweet? There's already a lot of that kind of Pinot in the marketplace, and at a much lower price point, so, uh... what am I paying for again?

Bright ruby color with medium legs. Cedar, rose and cherry on the nose. Raspberry, cranberry and tea on the palate. Long silky smooth finish.
