My last bottle and as good as the first. Better with plenty of air and at room temperature. The nose was a little shy, yet with depth; orange peel, honey suckle, toasted almond, saline. The palett was very deep and complex with notes that follow the nose, but with the addition of marzipan, and a strong undercurrent of minerality. Plenty of acid carries the texture along with what I can only describe as a tannic grip. The finish is very long with almond, marzipan, and granite with vanilla arriving at the very end. Such an amazing wine. This bottle could have gone another 5 years without missing a beat. 7-19-19-9

Still drinking exceptionally well! Serious complexity and hitting on all cylinders. The tropical fruit and glycerine notes are in perfect balance with fresh acidity. Rather full bodied with a long finish. It’s as good a Friulano as I’ve ever had. I’m going to try to keep my last bottle for at least 3 more years.

Biryani night (Chicago, IL): Wow, didn't have a clue what this was (still barely do), but I can say I was really impressed by it. The nose is a little waxy, with a little bit of citrus and minerality showing, but the palate was outstanding. It's a very structural wine, with plenty of acid and a really nice thick texture that doesn't get heavy. Incredibly minerality and freshness overall as well, this actually reminds me a bit of white Colares.

Color is beautiful deep golden straw. Opened and initial taste was much too oily and oxidized for my palate. Put in fridge uncorked and day 2 much more pleasant drinking experience for me. As others have noted, definitely thin and wishing I had opened this bottle in 2013-14.

Past its prime. Flat and nothing special.
