Light yellow-gold. Nose is a bit muted but definitely shows Marsanne/southern Rhône white characteristic that follows thru to the taste. High acid for this type of wine, which means it should hold for a while. Finish is appropriately garrigue-like. Cellar notes <https://www.domaineberrien.com/images/MarsanneSS_21.pdf> indicate harvest @ 20.4 brix and alcohol @ 13.2%, which don't quite add up. Was this wine chaptalized? 20% of the cuvée is Roussanne, making it a true southern Rhône blend, tho from a much cooler climate. Interesting… and a STEAL at $16/btl. Just 140 cs produced.
