Palate: Juicy and fresh red (raspberry, cherry) and black (cherry) fruit, mushrooms, minor oak notes (oak spice, vanilla) zing-y medium+ acidity, spicy / baking spice quality on the medium+ finish, medium body, very light tannin, very well balanced and energetic.
My first Oregon Pinot Noir, and it bodes well for the rest of the region! Can't wait to try some more bottles.

Pretty deep ruby/garnet color. Juicy, ripe, but also fresh with notes of dark and red juicy berries, also some baking spices, a touch of earth. It‘s medium bodied, with good medium-high acidity and just a touch of tannin. Medium finish. A lovely, juicy and aromatic Pinot Noir at a good price. What‘s not to like.

The Fifth Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir: Retail $25. A decided herbal aspect (celery) and a distinct earthy, dirtiness on the nose. Dirty and certainly tart, but lacking a bit on the fruit. 88 Points.
Brambly dark fruit, black raspberries, and tomato leaf on the nose. Pure, stemmy, so balanced, showing wonderful fruit, excellent structure, and plenty of youthful energy. Lots of potential going forward.
