I disagree with the below. The wine shows dry lemon structure on the nose, quite pronounced but not over-bearing. The palate (to use a crude term is dry). It has none of the hot house qualities that plague many recent Chablis vintages have but has those mineral qualities that all Chablis should have. C de L is not up there with the super stars, but this is an extremely and (in the present environment that calls for big wines) an intelligent and well-crafted wine. It is not for those that want 'wow!; more for the cognoscenti who can see that less is more.

Sea rocks and citrus inflected scents burst from the glass right off the bat, with notes of reduction and a disturbing white glue like note that I found strange and unattractive, but the mouthfeel if satisfying with its generous limey intensity, it luscious density on the mid palate and its penetrating acids that enhances the citrus inflected long finish. Without the weird chemical note on the nose this would have been a tremendous Chablis 1er.

Currently a reductive, mineral, citrus affair. Finish has overpowered acid blasting away the texture (that did improve some with air).
Followed for two days. Picked up much more body, wax, some lemon curd, floral notes. In sort, it much improved.
I have 2 bottles left and will check back in 2-3 years when I think it will be a very good wine. Don't touch now.
