Puissant, très tannique, encore très jeune, raisins stressés par la chaleur et peu d'eau, résultat très frappant, cassis, réglisse noire, longueur et force. Cellier pendant au moins 5 ans.

Real Review - Top Wineries of Australia (Ovolo, Wooloomooloo): Perfumed but ripe dark fruits, plenty of sweet spice. Quite oaky on the palate with plenty of alcohol warmth, dark hued fruits are present, chewy tannins wrestle with the fruit. Lives up to its name. Time should help.

Real Review Top Wineries tasting (Ovolo Hotel Woolloomooloo): {15%, cork, $95} Turning it up to eleven here. Ink and iodine. Black fruit (and colour!). Fumey, warm, raisin-like palate, with low acidity, full body, medium chalky tannins. Too ripe. Medium length finish but I reckon the unbalanced core of this will cruel any change of beneficial evolution.

Barossa be consumed 2022 (Brisbane): Almost inky black. Intense palate of extracted sweet fruit and oak. A little hot and pushed slightly too far. Impressive wine, for drinking now. Not sure how these huge styles are going to age.
