  This is a very interesting wine, contradictory but delicious. Dark garnet, thinning at the edge with slight brown tints. Nose of sour plums, cherry, wood chips, thyme, smoked paprika, lively acid and big red fruits balanced with a little sourness on the palete, but the weight belies the flavours, it it light to mid weight, but the flavours keep going... very nice, great QPR. I would have scored higher but for the weight on the palate. Almost quaffer, but a little too much going on!
