For whatever reason, this bottle shows in stark contrast to my last one by hiding the alcohol much better. This is delicious lemon meringue and Nuttzo with lingering notes of toasted marshmallow. The oak is only to the point of necessity. A good mineral influence in the background. There is a slight astringent heat, but nowhere near the level that I sensed before. Scrumptious. 5+12+16+8= 911

No real big flaws, also not really all that interesting. Alcohol levels are a little noticeable, flavor is a mix of tropical fruit and a little bit of buttered popcorn. A decent everyday drinker, not much more than that.

Gonna back off a point or two on this, not because I find the oak overwhelming, but because the alcohol seems even more intrusive than before. I still love the pineapple ring cake aspect to the bouquet, but the heat is a distraction. 5+11+16+7= 89

Needed about a good hour open to fully come together. I normally don't have much affinity for Chardonnay with a lot of oak, but there is something about this one that just sets my sail. Even at room temp I am enjoying this, except for the distraction of 14.8% abv. At least it's more of a gentle giant than a monster ;) 5+11+17+8= 91

Sharp and oaky. Not much true chardonnay fruit. With De Negoce, sometimes you get hits, sometime misses. This is a big miss. Too bad I bought a case!
