Good structure with solid balance of fruit forward followed by long tannic finish. A lot of Sonoma/Napa cabs these days are too sweet for my liking. Not the case here. Still has time to mature but very nice right now. Good value.

Better integrated and smoother than the '16. But, the blend is different too. 90% CS, 10% M. Dark red. Moderately expressive inviting nose with candied cherries and vanilla. Well integrated, luscious palate, nice upholding acidity, rich with dark berries, raspberries and cassis, a hint of licorice, very smooth tannins constituting a medium plus body. Long finish with sweet, woody spices

Blackberry, dark cherry, and black plum flavors combine to give this wine a juicy palate that definitely leans toward the sweet side. Smooth and easy to drink, with judicious amounts of oak and spice. Great QPR @ $17.
