  • Not bad for a daily drinker PN. Better after 1.5 hrs in the decanter. Still young. Even for a daily drinker PN. S'ok. Package better than the joose.

  • This is a solid effort for the price point and the category of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir that it occupies.
Nice fresh, pure fruit that is supported by a very present dusty earthiness reminiscent of beetroot or even beetroot skin..
Actually has a pretty good broad flavor. The tannins are a little aggressive but there's also some nice slick acidity to balance it out and I think that if paired with the right food those tannins could actually be a real welcome component of this wine. I think this would go great with some really fatty pork dishes, or a cheese and charcuterie plate.
Squeaks into the 90-point category for me. I think it really is worth taking a look at and is easily worth the price. It'll be interesting to see what happens to this wine at age four or five. If those tannins integrate and get really velvety and the mid pallet fills out a little bit this could be a real sleeper star!

  • Nice concentrated dark fruit. A little too tannic for my taste and lacked the velvety mouthfeel of many Oregon Pinots.

  • Quite pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this, given the mixed comments I read before opening a bottle. Good clarity in the glass: deep brick red. Slight pungency on the nose, followed by dark fruit, black raspberry and plum, with a hint of cinnamon and menthol. Similar in the mouth.Round and slippery on the finish. Delicious wine, and a great value at $20.
