  This wine can clearly age but we wanted something local and good to show to Ontario guests on New Year's Eve, with a venison roast. Medium body, dark, a bit rough but with interesting fruit and complexity. It worked well with the venison roast but clashed with sweeter side dishes like potato gratin. Worth getting more and leaving them alone for a while.
