Light ruby red. On opening, utterly savoury, white pepper and olive nose with stems and something a bit earthy and dirty (in a characterful sort of way). Over time more cherry fruit emerges. Light and pleasant, enough in the way of tannin to give it some structure but not that extracted, which was welcome. Pretty good value too.
