  • What a surprising wine! I may have had this wine early but it had all the elements of a very special wine. Not your ordinary Pinot with dark visual and earthy and sweet notes of light fruit on the nose. Not floral but certainly enticing. The flavors were almost dark fruit with a beautiful acid balance that lets you know it’s Pinot. The finish was unusual with some earthy and light fruit presence. A very unusual and unique wine/ especially in a Pinot profile.

  • Might have opened it a touch too early, but still outstanding California Pinot. Full of wet earth, pipe smoke, licorice aromas and a light cherry backbone. Beautifully balanced acidity makes it sing. Excited to try the other Proems we have cellared in the coming years.
