Bit dark now. but still light golden. nose: very ripe apples, peaches, quince plus some fennel notes. Robust but elegant and balanced. taste: medium (+) acidity, peaches, some ripe apples, pears. Medium (+) finish. Very good balance. Ripe fruits/acid/body balance. Ages really well.

At first, the wine smells of guava, cantaloupe, and pear. There is vegetable oil or wet cloth character. A lot of minerality as well. A touch of ammonia. With a little bit of time, almond blossom and peach come out, finally developing into almond. Maybe there is a little bit of batonnage? Overall, the nose is pretty complex and enticing. On the palate, the wine is very acidic, medium- in body. There are notes of lemon, guava, melons again. Some river rocks maybe. I’ve never had Soave before but this is quite nice and I wish I was enjoying it in the summer. 8/18

Apple and lemon on the nose. On the palate, green apple, lychee, and peach, with floral notes and light yeast on the medium finish, with good acidity. This was a very good value at about $20.

A step above most Soave Classicos. Melon, white flower and a touch of jasmine. Good mineral streak. Round and smooth with a good long finish. Highly recommended.
