This impressed the hell out of me, a non-wine guest, and my wife, who loves her CA chardonnays to be precise but tropical, kind of a narrow row to hoe, but this one - along with, say, Cattleya - fits the bill. A little clunky the first hour it's open, but it sings when it warms up a bit. Really good stuff.

Gorgeous wine that is drinking beautifully now. Lots of complex cheesy, sour cream, yogurt aroma with beautifully underripe yellow apple skin. The texture is incredibly silky and delivers all of the wine’s complexity in a very integrated manner

Wow. This takes the top US produced chardonnay spot for me, personally. The nose on this wine is breathtakingly complex. So much good lees action here plus honey, caramel, flowers, and stone fruit. On the palette the story continues beautifully. Wonderful balance of acidity to the fruit, but it’s this leesy honeyed textural thing that really draws you in over and over again. Finish just keeps going and I spent a good 5 minutes after the wine was gone smelling my glass like an idiot. Deserving of every high mark I’m giving it.
