  100% Cabernet Sauvignon
  [as distinct from previous vintages which were typically blends with
  Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot]
  from decomposed sandstone and shale soils at 250-500 ft
  in the western foothills of the Oakville appellation.
  No wine-making detail available.
  14.8% Abv. 485 cases bottled April 2021
  Background: founded in 2002 by Tom and Kyle Futo from Wichita, Kansas.
  Winery designed by architect Howard Backen completed in 2008.

  A(ccuray)=2: Deep ruby. Focused concentrated varietal.
  B(alance)=3: Layered components in harmony.
  C(omplexity)=3: Dark berries, crème de cassis, toast, spices, cedar, chocolate.
  D(epth)=2: Plush mouthfeel. Full palate and long finish.

  Extremely intense and complex. Cassis, pencil shaving, mocha, tar, tobacco, sandal wood. Superb intensity yet very fine.
